General Information
- Bring a blanket or beach chair and plan to arrive early - parking is limited!
- Please Do Not Park on Safford Street.
- In the event of rain for any of these Tuesday performances, the concert will be rescheduled for the Wednesday of that same week. A sign will be posted at the main gate at Sunset Lake or call (781) 794-8903 to check on the rain date if in doubt.
- Come to Sunset Lake for the town’s 14h Annual BELD SUMMER SUNSET CONCERT SERIES.
Entertainment Descriptions
- Ronnie Lewis and hte Expedition- Making their 4th summertime appearance at Sunset Lake, this New England musical group that’s packed venues everywhere with their high energy six member band will delight you with your favorite tunes including oldies and contemporary off the
- chart hits. They’re just plain good!
- Heritage House Blues Band-Braintree’s own Bruce Henkelmann brings this popular quintet back to the stage at the Sunset Gazebo for the fifth time for a night of Blues Standards, Rock Favorites and Country Classics. The are back again this summer because YOU, the public requested.
- Paul Agnew & John Capavella with Friends- Back after a three summer absence, this local group of entertainers will perform Great American Songbook favorites with Paul doing the singing and Cappy on the keyboard accompanied by several other talented musician friends to make this night a very special evening showcasing the tunes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Michael LeGrand, and many more
- The John Penny Band- Its Country-Western night at the Sunset Gazebo with Waltham’s John Penny and his band of musicians taking center stage. The fiddler’s music alone will get the sand kicked up and the Texas Two Step favorites will be sure to have several in the parking lot showing their stuff. It’s a lot about Country and a little bit of Rock n’ Roll music for two hours.
- Curragh's Fancy- It’s Irish Night at the Sunset Gazebo with all Irish Eyes be Smiling as Bob Fowkes of Braintree (of Congressman Lynch’s Boston Office) and his friendly band mates will fill the lakeside air with Irish crowd favorites. Fabulous fun night that you want to be sure to attend for the many sing alongs.
- Kathy and Kathy- Twice as Nice- Braintree’s own Kathy Clancy on the keyboard and Kathy Porter on the vocals, this concert will bring musical favorites for all ages to enjoy. You’ve heard their music, you’ve seen them near and far and you’ll thoroughly enjoy this evening of splendid oldies and current tunes
- The Olde Kids on the Block- Back for their second summer evening concert, this is Big Band Night at the gazebo with eighteen musicians featuring the sounds of Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller themed selections. They were a huge hit last summer and you wanted their sounds and songs back for this encore performance concert
- Java Jive- Our summertime conclusion of concerts will feature this year our most popular group to our gazebo. Tom Madden and his zany musical band will provide the sing along and dancing favorites from the ‘70s to the ‘90s. It’s also free hot dogs, hamburgs, cold drinks and snacks while supplies last. Come early for limited parking as overflow parking will be at the bank lots in South Braintree.
